Harriniva lies in the beautiful rolling fell land of Western Lapland where the hills and forests typify a Lapland untouched for 1,000 years. Near the Pallas-Ylläs national park, close to the road E8, 3 km South from Muonio village. It is situated next to the Muonio River and hundreds of kilometres of snowmobile, cross country skiing and hiking traks. The combination of these provides endless possibilities for different activities all year round.

Here, alongside the border with Sweden, Maria and Kopi Pietikainen have offered hospitality for over 25 years to travellers, fishermen, skiers and adventurers as well as rearing Siberian Huskies.
